How does GDPR affect Dun & Bradstreet?
From May 2018 all companies will be subject to the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) when they process "personal data" on EU residents. This note answers some frequently asked questions and sets out D&B’s position on the GDPR. Different companies will be affected differently by the GDPR depending on matters like what ground of processing they rely on, what relationship they have with the individuals they process data on or the type of data they process. Customers using Sales & Marketing Services (S&MS) must also consider a separate piece of EU legislation – the E Privacy Directive – which is not changing.
Important Note: This document is very specific to D&B data and should not be relied on as legal advice for your company.
