Why can’t I find a match for the business I want?
There are a number of possible reasons for a no-match.
- The business may have changed its name, it could have relocated or changed ownership etc.
- If the business you enquire upon is comparatively new then Dun & Bradstreet may not have received official publication/notification about its registration.
- Depending on the country and the specific legal form there is also the possibility that Dun & Bradstreet does not hold information about the subject in question on the database yet (local laws vary which impacts the method & timing of data collection).
- In very rare cases it might be that the company does not even exist.
In such cases there is the option to trigger an investigation on this business. We will then check all available data sources and try to contact the company itself to obtain the information on your behalf.
There are also markets that Dun & Bradstreet do not currently cover and as such are unable to provide reports. These markets are :
